Worker availability
Availability windows and leave that scheduling reads when rostering.

The Availability tab records when a support worker can and cannot work. Scheduling reads it when rostering, so keeping it current avoids clashes.
Adding a rule
Select Add rule and set:
- Type: Available, Unavailable, or a leave type (Annual, Sick, Carer’s, Parental or Other leave).
- Day pattern: All days, Weekdays, Weekends, or Custom (pick the days).
- Start and end time (optional), for a window within the day.
- Effective from and to: required for leave and unavailability, so the block has a clear period. Leave them open for an ongoing availability rule.
- Note (optional).
Each rule shows its type, the days it applies on, any time window, and its period. Leave overrides availability for the dates it covers. You can edit or delete a rule from the list.
